I thought people might be interested in this resource pack, set up by the brilliant Breastfeeding Network. It’s called the Childrens Centre Resource Pack, but why not request some of the books at your local library, maybe offer to do a storytime with them, buy them for your own children - and as for the soft toys, how sweet are they?!

I had mastitis when my youngest son was ten days old. I’d had a hot, sore lump on my breast since that morning and frequent feeds weren’t doing much to soften it. As it got redder, my temperature went up and I began to feel fluey. Not pleasant!

At last! I’ve been saying for ages that there needs to be more Government money in supporting breastfeeding and somebody who can actually make this happen has, well, made this happen!
