Tainted Chinese infant formula proves fatal

In China, more than 50 babies have kidney stones and another has died – tests showed the formula was tainted with toxic melamine, in order to make the product appear rich in protein.  700 tonnes of infant formula has been recalled by Sanlu Group Co.  The formula isn’t sold outside China.  For more on this [...]
